I have a box if the brand FILLO pastry sheets, extra thick phyllo dough.?

I have used pastry sheets in the past, but am a bit nervous about using the phyllo dough. Since it is “extra thick” do i have to layer it using melted butter in between? Or can I just cut it into squares fill it w/ the meat and potato mixture I plan on using and stick two of them together. Please any suggestions?

yes you need oil, or butter inbetween layers. This helps with keeping th filo moist…and not dry out. You will be able to work with it alot easier.
