Christian Yoga Dvd
Yoga question….??
Is there any good Christian Yoga DVD’s out? I want the excercise part of Yoga, not the meditation and worship parts. So are there any good ones?
To answer your question, if you want to find out about “Christian Yoga”, type in the words, “Praise Moves” into the Yahoo search engine. This is the Christianized form of yoga that was invented when a woman tried to teach yoga to children in the bible belt, and was almost ran out of town for it. But of course, once she CHANGED THE NAME, but continued the exact same practice, it became acceptable to the locals.
You know, I applaud you for actually realizing that yoga is a good thing…but I am always baffled by Christians who love to condemn others for their beliefs, but then will adopt those same beliefs, “Christianize” them, and then it’s okay.
If you recognize the good of yoga, why don’t you recognize and respect the religion where it originates? Once again, I am not trying to be judgmental, but Christian behavior baffles me sometimes. I have even heard of a “Christian Herb and Candle Store” being advertised on the radio. You condemn witchcraft, but it’s okay to adopt the methods of witchcraft to manifest your desires, as long as you change the names of the deity. Well, practicing witchcraft under the name of the Christian God is called Voodoo.
It’s like you see the rest of us having fun, and you don’t want to miss out on that fun, so you justify your actions somehow, and then continue to condemn others, while you practice the same things. And somehow in your mind, you justify this by giving it Christian labels.
You amaze me….but I am trying hard to respect you and your right to be strange.
